Rosgosstrakh and DATA FORT announce signing the agreement on providing services on corporate information system outsourcing of the insurance company.

In accordance with the Agreement DATA FORT deploys in its Data Center the main information systems of Rosgosstrakh. The concluded agreement was preceded by winning the tender by DATA FORT this spring and arranging of cooperation terms.

Rosgosstrakh is the largest insurance company in Russia; it has single leaders and single standards all over the country. The total number of Rosgosstrakh employees is over 50 thousand, including 35 thousand insurance agents. Over 20 million individuals and 130 thousand companies are its clients. In order to support further growth and competitive advantages strengthening, Rosgosstrakh is actively involved in business processes modernization and IT strategy improvement.

To support operability of high-capacity corporate information system Rosgosstrakh declared a tender on its deployment in outsourcing company's data center. Uninterruptible power supply and data security were stated among the main requirements, as well as guaranteed connection to Russian leading ISPs. DATA FORT has won the tender.

DATA FORT services provided to Rosgosstrakh include the lease of industrial racks with uninterruptible power supply of the second category and switching to commercial UPS, database server hosting and ensuring regular data backup on tapes, including Oracle 9i Database. In accordance with the customer requirements high-speed server connection to leading Russian ISPs is provided as well as to MSK-IX point of traffic exchange.

In order to support operation of Rosgosstrakh information system, which is supposed to serve users all over Russia in 12 time zones, DATA FORT provides customer's administrative staff with equipped work places. To comply with the tough requirements on information security and data privacy, DATA FORT specialists established LAN dedicated segment, including administrators' work places, network infrastructure and customers' server racks.

In the framework of the signed agreement it is planned to provide services on backup of servers being the kernel of Rosgosstrakh information system, and also services on monitoring the server settings and statistics.
