9th February, 2005. IBS, a leader of the Russian IT and consulting market, announced starting cooperation with NEC Computers International, one of the leading European computer equipment manufacturers. As a result of the contract, IBS becomes the first service provider of NEC CI in Russia and undertakes maintenance of the NEC equipment throughout the Russian Federation.

Within the framework of the contract, it is planned to establish a network of NEC service centers on the basis of IBS partnership network, covering at the moment all 89 regions of Russia. At the first stage, the NEC service network will include Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and other 20 regions of Russia, where NEC expects most active sales of its products. As the NEC market develops in Russia, such service facilities will be launched in other regions.

In his comment on starting cooperation with IBS, Jozsef Pucz, East Europe NEC Business Development Manager, said: «We hope that the created service network will provide a solid ground for strengthening the positions of NEC technologies in Russia, as well as facilitate effective participation in public tenders, promotion and sales growth in all regions of Russia».

The service package for NEC equipment maintenance provided by IBS and its service partners will include: 24x7 free hot line, warranty service and repair of NEC equipment, enhanced servicing with on-site survey by a specialist for troubleshooting and repair, and other services provided to the end users of NEC equipment — legal entities and individuals.

NEC will be another global brand together with Dell, ViewSonic, Iiyama provided by IBS with the equipment maintenance all over Russia. Entering into this contract will allow expanding IT outsourcing, one of the IBS business lines, and strengthening relationships with IBS regional partners.
