DATA FORT, IBS and Comstar United Telesystems saved Parter.

Parter is a leading system for booking and sale of tickets to spectacular events. 08 December 2004 MGTS (Moscow City Telephone Company), the main provider of Internet access service and telephony service to Parter, gave a notice on scheduled maintenance works in the trunk channel. Parter's office was about to loose communication for three days. However the system received and processed requests through the website round the clock, and the call-center operated according to the regular schedule: from 09:00 till 21:00 every day.

Company Parter avoided serious loss connected with possible idle time of the booking system due to careful planning of activities in extraordinary conditions and due to help of partners: project DATA FORT, companies IBS and Comstar United Telesystems.

Parter's portal, including a directory of events, a ticket ordering and booking system, resides in independent servers in the data center of project DATA FORT. All major components of the data center: security system, electric power supply, climate control, firefighting system, Internet connections are protected by double redundancy.

DATA FORT also ensures complete daily backup and storage of data, timely reacts upon equipment malfunctions and provides technical support round the clock.  

Continuity of telephone service to Porter is ensured by using Logic Line Office service provided by Comstar. As a part of the service, Parter has a dedicated virtual telephone number. Incoming calls to this number are forwarded to any company numbers. The possibility to configure parameters of the service permitted to change the call processing scenario on short notice, thus including telephone numbers of Parter's retail offices and mobile numbers of call center operators in the call forwarding list.

IBS also contributed to the solution of the problem by offering the backup office service. Backup office was a number of workplaces, which Parter's call center operators used while telephone service in their main office was not available.  

Parter's website has over 9,000 visitors per day, and the call center processes about 1200 calls per day. According to Marina Lensu, the Director of the company, Parter has managed to avoid commercial loss and damage to the image connected with that it would have been impossible to receive and process customers' requests, due to services of DATA FORT, IBS and Comstar.
