Sonic Duo became DATA FORT customer in 2001 when it needed the services of secured hosting of multifunctional web portal megafonmoscow.ru. The principal requirements to deployment were guaranteed operability and availability at the level of almost 100 %, provided service continuity and guaranteed information security and data recovery.
On the assumption of customer's needs and technical peculiarities DATA FORT has elaborated together with the portal developers a solution providing deployment of Sonic Duo systems on the dedicated software-hardware platform SPARC Solaris.
Today DATA FORT provides MegaFon availability on the Internet, guarantees uninterruptible operation of megafonmoscow.ru and gsmlight.ru. DATA FORT provides services on deployment and operation support of megafonmoscow.ru on own technological platform in the Data Center; the access to Oracle Database is provided on ASP terms. Services of the project also include administrating, round-the-clock monitoring, backup, protection against intrusion, and setting and connecting to the system of the site visitors statistics.
