May 23, 2006, Moscow. DATA FORT has gained the authorized service partner status for the products of Lenovo ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, and ThinkAccessories, as well as the IBM IntelliStation systems and servers of IBM System x family.

This agreement was signed within the framework of implementing the DATA FORT plans of extending the range of serviced equipment, and seamlessly supplements the existing IBS services — sale and warranty service of IBM POS terminals in Russia.

Under the agreement on servicing IBM computers 17 DATA FORT service centers have received authorization, and their specialists have successfully passed the IBM qualification tests.

Starting from April DATA FORT accepts for servicing IBM hardware purchased via official dealers authorized to sell in Russia. DATA FORT offers the customers various warranty service alternatives: warranty and non-warranty repair, offsite visits, remote support, delivery of equipment to the service center, etc.

DATA FORT is currently the official dealer of Hyundai ImageQuest, Dell, Depo, EIZO, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Iiyama, NEC, and Ontrack Data Recovery. According to Yury Samoylov, the General Director of DATA FORT: «This new stage of cooperation between DATA FORT and IBM will allow for offering our customers high-quality services with the geographically distributed structure».

The DATA FORT regional network consists of over 220 service partners in 88 Russian Federation entities.
