DATA FORT and Ward Howell International, a leader on the Russian market of top management recruiting and HR consulting, have concluded a contract for deployment of the Internet-system E-xecutive in the project’s data center.

The primary objective of the E-xecutive project is to create a 24-hour on-line community of professional managers. Informational resources of the site offer strategic information for professionals of various specializations who work in all sectors of economy. The site has a daily audience of more than 4 thousand visitors who contribute to thematic forums, discuss analytic materials, read latest market news, etc. Analysis of the statistical data on E-xecutive forums demonstrated that more than 20% of registered Community members (23,000 by the beginning of October) take an active part in the forums.

According to the agreement, DATA FORT hosts E-xecutive on two powerful servers managed by Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server and located on the premises of DATA FORT. DATA FORT experts provide 24-hour uninterrupted site operation mode and guarantee Internet accessibility ca. 99,95 per cent. They also offer administration, technical support on both hard- and software levels and provide access to the WebTrends reporting system which tracks site attendance.

Apart from infrastructure lease services, DATA FORT apportions disk space for data storage in Microsoft SQL Server database management system and ensures daily and weekly (complete) data backup on common tapes, guaranteeing data recovery within an hour (working days) upon submission of a relevant request. Pursuant to the agreement, non-stop external monitoring of servers’ network connection and software operation parameters as well as control over physical and information security of the resource will be granted on a mandatory basis.
