Cooperation of DATA FORT project (IBS) with the Cable&Wireless group is of a purely marketing nature.

The companies did not assume any specific financial obligations or commitments regarding allocation of profits generated by the DATA FORT project. DATA FORT project offers applications and infrastructure services, implements complex projects in the sphere of corporate IT-outsourcing. Under a service agreement with Cable&Wireless IBS makes monthly payments for the rented facilities and the Internet traffic generated in the Moscow data center located at 8 Marta street. To assure reliability, DATA FORT runs backup facilities provided by other technological partners and also plans construction of its own backup data center.

Says IBS General Director First Deputy Sergey Merkulov, "Since commercial launch of the project in October 2001 our companies have been coordinating joint efforts related to client servicing and market formation. We hope that this cooperation will continue and we are ready to raise the issue with IP-eYe management shortly. We do not foresee any considerable changes in the terms on which we cooperate with IP-eYe and we are convinced that transfer of assets will not tell on DATA FORT business, service portfolio it provides and, last but not least, quality of our services".
