DATA FORT has completed the works on organizing mail system and corporate site of data communication in the Moscow office of United Heavy Machinery (OMZ).

OMZ engineers, produces, markets and services equipment and machinery for nuclear industry, oil and gas complex, mining and metallurgy industry, sea and river shipping. UMP is a public corporation with the stocks circulating at Russian and foreign (Berlin, Munich and Stuttgart) stock exchanges and also over the counter markets.

OMZ hosts Microsoft Exchange Server 2000 from DATA FORT. Besides, in the frameworks of this project DATA FORT specialists provide 24-hour monitoring, resources and users administration, regular data backup, data protection and Internet services. The establishment of corporate mail system in the premises of OMZ in Letnikovskaya Street has eliminated the problem of access to corporate mail system by the employees being out of office for a business trip and enabled conducting videoconferences and conferences.

For internal purposes virtual FTP catalogue has been organized on the server providing the access of users from remote offices, including those located in St-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg and Nizhni Novgorod.
